Updates:Four Ndejje SS students die in car accident


Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Four teenage students heading to Ndejje SS to get their recently released Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results have perished in a car crash.
The four students, one of who was
reported driving a Toyata Brevis, met their fate on Bombo-Ndejje Road in Luwero after they crashed into a lorry loading bricks on the side of the road shortly before midday on Friday.
The boys are believed to have been 16 years old, two years below the minimum age one can get a driving permit in Uganda.
Police confirmed the incident at 19 miles Bombo road, where three died on the spot, and the fourth died at the nearby Bombo Military Hospital where he had been rushed to.
The students are said to have recorded a video as they drove to school that has now been shared on social media.

Vincent Male, Isaac Sewajje and Sedrick Muwanguzi all students of Ndejje SSS have been involved in a fatal when a vehicle they were in had a head on Collision with a Tipper. The students were going to pick their #UCE2017 results.
