A man has reportedly hacked his own wife to death in a community in Akwa Ibom State causing serious commotion in the area.

It was pure panic that took over an Akwa Ibom town after a man killed his wife recently.
The man, a vulcanizer identified as
Nkere-Uta, allegedly slaughtered his wife, Bella with a machete in Mbiabam Ibiono Community, in Akwa Ibom State on Monday morning.
Local reports show that the deceased woman was a hard-working petty trader with five children and was said to be loved by those who knew her.
The reason for the man killing his wife is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
